2025 Year in Review: Scaling Impact Across Climate, Food, and Education
This year, I had the privilege of working with some remarkable companies—from clean energy startups launching global pilots to food brands helping kids eat more vegetables to schools reimagining education.
On the surface, these projects couldn't be more different. But what ties them all together? Mission-driven companies ready to grow, and a belief that the right marketing can amplify impact and drive real revenue.
Climate Innovation on a Global Stage
I partnered with an energy startup preparing to launch commercial pilots around the world—and this project pushed me in the best way possible.
Building a brand strategy for cutting-edge climate technology required deep listening, learning an entirely new industry, and distilling incredibly complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging. It was challenging work that demanded real diligence, but that's exactly what made it so rewarding.
Working with mission-driven businesses like this is why I do what I do. There's something powerful about knowing the work matters—not just for revenue, but for impact at a global scale.
The best part? Seeing the seeds of our brand messaging work make it into their final outputs. Watching the positioning framework we built together show up in their materials, in their conversations with partners, in how they present themselves to the world.
Transforming Food Systems, One Meal at a Time
A viral food brand came to me as they scaled up production at their new facility. Together, we developed the marketing systems to support that growth—helping them reach new customers while staying true to their mission of locally and ethically sourced fare.
I also got to work on projects focused on helping kids eat more vegetables and strengthening local food networks. There's something special about marketing work that makes a tangible difference in people's daily lives.
Reimagining Education
I worked with a local school that's genuinely disrupting the traditional education model and generating strong academic performance. I came in early—back when they were still at the MVP stage—to now helping with a brand refresh. Together, we clarified their messaging and helped them communicate their value to reach the families who need them most. Watching them grow from those early days to achieving enrollment goals has been rewarding. There's something special about being there from the beginning and seeing that foundation turn into real, sustained growth.
Hospitality Meets Digital Marketing
One of my favorite ongoing partnerships has been with a veteran Silicon Valley hospitality brand. For years, they relied almost exclusively on referrals. This year, we unlocked digital marketing for them—building systems that generated new leads, customers, and drove measurable growth. Seeing a 134% increase above their revenue plan and 6x demand growth has been proof that even established brands can find untapped opportunity.
What These Projects Have in Common
Whether it's climate tech, food systems, education, or hospitality, the pattern is the same: mission-driven companies with incredible offerings that weren't translating into the growth they deserved.
My approach is consistent: use digital tools strategically, create clear and compelling messaging, and show up with the data to prove what's working. When companies commit to that consistency—weekly accountability, performance tracking, and continuous refinement—the results speak for themselves. We're talking 4-5x returns, revenue growth that exceeds plan, and marketing systems that actually drive impact.
What's Changing (and What's Not)
As 2025 wraps up, my collaborative studio is winding down—my partners are pursuing exciting new opportunities and geographic shifts. I'm grateful for the work we did together and the clients we served.
But I'm not going anywhere. If anything, I'm doubling down on what's been working: fractional marketing leadership for companies ready to scale.
What Does "Fractional Marketing" Actually Mean?
Think of it this way: You need strategic marketing leadership—someone who can build systems, analyze what's working, guide your team, and drive revenue—but you don't need (or can't yet afford) a full-time CMO.
That's where I come in. I work with a select number of clients as their fractional marketing leader, typically a few days a week or in focused monthly engagements. You get executive-level strategy and hands-on execution without the full-time salary. I bring the expertise, the accountability, and the data-driven approach that turns marketing from a cost center into a revenue driver.
Looking Ahead to 2026
I'm focused on partnering with growth-stage companies—who are ready to build real marketing systems and scale strategically.
If you're a founder or business leader who's:
Outgrown the "scrappy startup" phase
Ready to invest in marketing that drives measurable results
Looking for strategic leadership without hiring a full-time executive
Committed to showing up consistently and doing the work
...I'd love to talk.
The companies I work best with care deeply about their mission, are willing to be data-informed, and understand that real growth comes from systems, not just tactics.
Grateful for This Year
Looking back at 2025, I'm grateful for the trust my clients placed in me, the results we achieved together, and the impact we were able to create across such diverse industries.
Here's to 2026—and to helping more mission-driven companies unlock the growth they deserve.
Ready to grow in 2026? Let's talk.
